Obituary of Lula M. King

Lula M. King (Lou Musgrove), 92, of the Inn at Northwood Village, Dover, Ohio passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2016 in the Union Hospital, Dover, Ohio. She was born on August 24, 1923 to the late Ida (Owens) and Clyde Wilson in Daybrook, West Virginia. Lou was a graduate of Farmington High School and trained to become a registered nurse. She worked at the Fairmont Emergency Hospital and for many years as a surgical nurse at Fairmont General Hospital where she retired in 1988. Lou lived most of her life in Fairmont where she enjoyed time with family and friends and activities such as square dancing, weekly game nights, and traveling. During the last year, Lou moved into assisted living in Dover. Her favorite activities became playing Bingo and going out for ice cream. She kept the ladies at the Inn entertained with her blunt, dry wit. Lou is survived by three children: Mary Ellen Hall of Dover, Robert L. (Debby) Musgrove of Fairmont, and Lou Anne (Marty) Pierce of Navarre, Ohio. She is also survived by five grandchildren Tracey (Colin) Posgate, Rob (Amanda) Musgrove, Jeff (Karla) Hall, Cindy (Aaron) Bunner, and Bree (Josh Evans) Miller. Lou has seven great-grandchildren: Kayla and Jayson Hall, Cara and Dennis Bunner, Ayla and Tyler Musgrove, and Deklan Posgate. She was predeceased by her parents, sister Lillian Wilson, brother and sister-in-law Donald and Sue Wilson, husband Robert E. Musgrove, and a very special friend and companion Floyd (Bucky) Henderson.
