Mary Edith Rodetsky, 75, of Sunshine Valley Dr., Shinnston, WV, passed away Saturday morning in United Hospital Center in Clarksburg, WV. She was born June 30. 1942 in Charleston, WV, daughter of the late Frank, Sr. and Leo Lamb Fidler. Mrs. Rodetsky was a Methodist by faith. She received her BA Degree in History and a Master’s Degree in Art from Concord University. She was an employee of the Times – West Virginian as a writer and editor, with 2 years of service. She earlier served as records clerk for Fairmont Emergency Hospital. Mary and her husband were both involved as dog obedience trainers. Survivors include her husband, Robert I. Rodetsky of Shinnston, WV and 2 sons, David Kent Sullivan of Homosassa, FL and Christopher Sullivan of Charleston, WV. She was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Fidler, Jr. Family and friends may call at Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont., WV from 11am until 1pm on Thursday. A memorial service will be held in the funeral home Thursday, 1-5-2017, at 1pm, with Pastor Larry Buckland officiating.
