Obituary of John R. "Bosco" Rundle

John R. “Bosco” Rundle,76, of Fairmont, passed away on November 3, 2016 at his residence. He was born June 1, 1940 in Fairmont, WV a son of the late Robert John and Helen Goll Rundle. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Eloise Rundle. Mr. Rundle was a graduate of Morgantown High School. He was a veteran with the United States Army. Bosco retired from C&P Telephone Company with over 35 years of service as a service technician. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post #7048. He loved to spend time at his camp in Webster Spring with his friends. He enjoyed being outdoors which included hunting, fishing, and four-wheeling. Bosco loved all sporting events, but most of all, he loved being with his family and grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Bob and his wife Karla Rundle of Fairmont, Debbie and her husband Jim Smith of Fairmont, Tracy Mills of Clarksburg, and Tara Gregory of Fairmont; his grandchildren: Ashley and her husband Leroy Brumage, Joel Griffith, Ryan Rundle, Janelle and her husband Joshua Hively, Holli and her husband Ryan Erdie, Ella Gregory, Andrew Mills, and Maya Gregory; great grandchildren: Luke Rundle, Abigail Brumage, Harper Brumage, Everly Hively, Eliana Hively, Hadley Erdie, and Taylen Erdie; his brothers: Tony and his wife Marlene Rundle of Fairmont, Donnie and his wife Suzanne Rundle of Fairmont, and Tom and his wife Peggy Rundle of Fairmont; his sisters: Mary Ann Dolinar of Morgantown, Carolyn and her husband Tom Hayhurst of Connecticut, and Darlene and her husband Gary Trippett of Fairmont. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Mark Mills, and his brother-in-law, John Dolinar. Memorial donations may be made in his memory to either the American Cancer Society, 122 South High Street, Morgantown, WV 26501 or the American Heart Association, WV Region, 162 Court Street, Charleston, WV 25301. Friends and family may visit the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont, WV on Saturday, November 5, 2016, from 2PM until 8PM and on Sunday, November 6, 2016 from 11AM until 1PM. The funeral will be held in the funeral home on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at 1PM with Reverend Jim Zinn officiating. Interment will follow at the Arnettsville Cemetery in Arnettsville, WV.
