Obituary of Christopher "Chris" Ronald Shoemaker

Christopher “Chris” Ronald Shoemaker, 36, of Morgantown, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2016. Chris was born in Fairmont on February 15, 1980, a son of William and Marylene Butler Shoemaker of Rivesville. In addition to his parents, Chris is survived by his daughter, Chloe Shoemaker of Clarksburg; three brothers, Wayne Shoemaker of Morgantown, Brandon Shoemaker of Rivesville and Matthew Shoemaker of Rivesville; his girlfriend, April Long and her daughters, Breanna and Olivia, all of Morgantown; his daughter’s mother, Courtney Oliverio of Clarksburg; five nieces and two nephews. The family will receive friends at Ford Funeral Home, DeGarmo Chapel, 207 Second St., Rivesville, WV 26588, on Thursday, July 28, 2016, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. and from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 7 p.m. with Evangelist Brent Gallagher officiating.
